I just listened to the first Just Another Snake Cult EP for the first time in a really long time. It has some early versions of recordings that made it onto The Dionysian Season full-length, but there are a couple others tracks well. But the presentation is much more condensed, and it has somewhat of an audio collage feel to it.
It’s nice finally having some perspective on it. It’s weird. It’s cool. I don’t think I realized its merits at the time. I wish more people bought that cassette.
